Christien Paul, the Canadian musician, hired us to create a lyric video for his song “Des Faux Pas”.
This lyric video animation was designed to be simple and fits the song well. It was an enjoyable process to bring these lyrics to life on screen!

More about Christien Paul:
Born and bred in Toronto, Christien developed a deep-seated love for music early in life. He underwent formal training in conservatory, mastering piano, saxophone, and percussion. Simultaneously, he delved into martial arts, achieving black belts in both karate and jiu-jitsu.
By 16, he formed his inaugural professional rock band, recording three albums and gracing over 200 stages across Canada alongside globally acclaimed artists. However, after a decade in the music scene, Christien shifted gears, transitioning to multimedia production, specializing in website creation, videography, and webmastering for major Canadian music festivals.
At 32, a transformative Vipassana retreat reignited his musical passion. Prompted by romance, he relocated to France, where his career flourished. Touring Europe garnered him accolades from esteemed publications like The Unchained and The Indie Music Center. His style matured, embracing a softer, more French aesthetic.
Amidst creative fervor, Christien penned “Welcome to Lyon,” lauded in 2017 as a Top 10 live performance by Tepakonu. Serendipitously, he crossed paths with the artistic director of C’est Pas Des Manières, resulting in his debut French album, “Welcome to Lyon,” slated for a 2020 release.
This album chronicles the ebbs and flows of a romantic liaison with a French muse, enveloped in the lyrical elegance of Molière’s tongue. Armed with his ukulele, Christien weaves enchanting melodies and poignant narratives, as evidenced by his 2018 single “Cuba,” a Spotify hit that catapulted him to the Roots Surf Festival in Spain.
